Last year, the Iyo City Tourism and Products Association Soleio, a general incorporated association, collaborated with the Kazuno Tourism and Products Corporation, a regional DMO in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, to carry out the "Goods and People Exchange Project," a project that allowed goods and people from each region to interact with each other. This project was well received, so the project will be carried out again this year.

As part of the "Goods Exchange Project," a "Two-Base Exchange Marche" will be held from December 2024 to early March 2025 (planned) at roadside stations and other exchange facilities in Iyo City, selling local specialties that are normally hard to find in Iyo City, such as "Kazuno apples," "Akita Komachi rice from Akita Prefecture," "shiso-wrapped daikon radish," and "kiritanpo hotpot sets."

In addition, this year the Matsumae Town Tourism Association will be participating in the two-location exchange market at Masaki Village, the Kumakogen Town Tourism Association at Roadside Station Tenku no Sato Sansan, and Toon City at Sakura no Yu Tourism and Product Center.

As part of the "People Exchange Project," a "Monitor Tour to Experience Kazuno Snow Agriculture" will be held in January 2025, with farmers from Iyo City and related businesses visiting Kazuno City in the Tohoku region in winter. They will deepen their interactions by experiencing agriculture unique to a snowy region, as well as visiting the Kazuno Antra Roadside Station, which was selected as one of the top 100 souvenir facilities by a tourism industry magazine.
