Iyoiro Festival
The Iyo Color Festival is held on the last Saturday and Sunday of July every year as a summer festival for the people of Iyo.
On the first day, a Children's Fish Catching Contest and an Iyo Dance Parade are planned, while on the second day, various events will be held around the Iyo Port Pier and shopping district, culminating in a fireworks display at the harbor in the evening (approximately 8,000 fireworks are planned).
